Dr Livingstone Supongo is the self-titled debut album of the Spanish band Dr Livingstone, Supongo. Released in 1987, the album features a unique blend of rock, funk, and pop music, with lyrics in both Spanish and English.
The album opens with the catchy and upbeat "Sofa" which sets the tone for the rest of the album. The band's musical prowess is evident in tracks like "Caminando" and "Vivir en la Tierra," which feature intricate guitar work and tight rhythm sections.
One of the standout tracks on the album is "Corre Por La Jungla," which features a memorable chorus and a funky bassline. The track was also featured in the 1988 film "The Adventures of Ford Fairlane."
The album's title track, "Dr Livingstone Supongo," is a nod to the famous explorer and features a spoken-word intro that adds to the album's overall charm.
