Review by Yvan Goudard

In The Garden, the fourth studio album by Pink Floyd, showcases the band's unique blend of psychedelic and progressive rock. Released in November 1967, the album features ten tracks that explore themes of love, loneliness, and isolation.

Opening with the dreamy instrumental "In The Beginning", the album sets a mellow tone that carries throughout. Tracks like "Crying Song" and "The Narrow Way" showcase the band's intricate guitar work and experimental soundscapes, while "The Scarecrow" and "Jugband Blues" feature more whimsical, folk-inspired melodies.

I'd like to know how Dan managed to sneak that massive recorder into so many shows successfully??!!! That thing is a beast!

Theyre making millions on this tour but Roger Waters is behind the scenes grumbling about them coming there, paying money to see them and making noise. Talk about shitting where you eat. Floyd albums are studio gems, with studio time.....Live with just 4 of them, you really see what they can do and they need more than their music to entertain.

Nice. Animals hadn't even come out yet. They were working it at that time. This of course was prior to Roger spitting on a fan so they were not yet falling apart. The good old days.

Analoge Technik und Techniker, die Ihr Handwerk beherrschten. Über die Band braucht man sowieso kein Wort mehr verlieren. DANKE für's Posten.

How is possible that I was @ this concert, it by far was the best show I ever heard/seen and perhaps only compares to but not quite to a handful of other experiences in my life… I’m now Sixty Four and I’m now hearing it again . ?

I have been a Floyd fan since probably '79 when I first heard Another Brick, I was 11 years old at the time. Not sure what it is but I am having a massive resurgence of wanting to listen to Floyd again, probably down to watching Nick Mason's Saucerfull of Secrets recently....Thanks Nick.
Thanks very much for this fantastic recording Dan Lampinski and also to Kev and Carl for uploading it.

Priceless to any Floyd fan

my lord, this is a clean recording, sure wish there were a couple of filmed shows tho....and even more so, I still wish these 2 guys would wake the fuck up and go out share some of the music they can make while there is still time, albeit very little TIME. What a sin that those two guys could never admit they were way way better together than apart...

In 1975 everything was new and showered with virgin holy water.
This is also how the enthusiasm of the audience can be understood.

If there ever was a performance that should have been released as a live album, this would be that performance.
Having seen PF in 77 (Animals), 80 (The Wall) and 94 (Pulse) this sounds better.
Between Dark Side of the Moon, Wish You Were Here, Animals and The Wall, PF was the best band.
